Great communication and interpersonal skills:
- Dispensing routine daily medication to patients, whether it involves prescription or non-prescription medication, is a common occurrence within the healthcare industry.
- Work with fellow nurses to provide top-quality care and dispense medication in a safe and timely manner.
- Stick to the written or spoken directions for organizing your medication.
- Keep a thorough log of your medication intake, including the amount and time of day you take each one.
- Watch over patients and note any changes in their overall health.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum requirement for the role is to hold a Certified Medication Assistant (MAC) certification
- One must have a Medication Administration certificate issued by the state that is current and valid
- Knowledge of nursing and medical best practices, combined with familiarity of applicable regulations, is imperative for those working in long-term care
- The eligibility requires an individual to be a minimum of 20 years old
- The ability to comprehend, speak, read, and write in English is a necessary requirement for consideration
